Ashton Rhinos 3 - 2 St John’s
Another very close game and unlucky to come out on the losing side today (can’t win them all ..) exciting match to watch and well done to all the lads for keeping it going to the end - we went 1-0 down again (we do love a come back ….) then 1-1 through a lovely finish by Kaylen and then 2-1 up through a lighting run from paddy down the wing and super cross and Sammy can flying in to get something on it (maybe his backside) to score but then they came back at us and we were unfortunate not to hang on and it finished 3-2. They are now top of our league and we can definitely beat them on another day so the league is now wide open and all to play for - joint man of the match today to Ciaran and Patrick - both were really good - have a good rest and we go again next week - COSJS !! ⚽️
