Wow that was a hot morning for football! Firstly special mention to Zaine, Shemon & Thomas for playing both games in that heat! Today was another ‘round robin’ format so sorry this is a double (length) match report!

The 2nd game was against RS who we always have ‘heated’ games against even when temps aren’t soaring! We went 1 down in this feisty encounter but the boys continued to battle & equalised through Zaine’s 1st (& well taken too) goal for St John’s! After this the heat must have got to a few lads, we didn’t talk to each other, gave away a daft penalty (nearly 2) & rode our luck to say the least; RS hit the woodwork 3 times! Thankfully Fergus is far more composed in the opposition penalty area than ours & tucked away the winner! Great to end the season with a couple of wins!

Well done boys on a successful season where we certainly won far more than we lost, as John says enjoy the rest, thanks to our families for great support & see you back for training in late August. ☀️☀️⚽️⚽️
