St Johns returned to action with an away fixture against Brooklands.
They gave debuts to Oscar and Malachy.

Brooklands scored two quick goals to take a 2-0 lead. St Johns settled down and attacked with fluidity with Alex, Joe, and Paddy putting the defence under pressure. St Johns closed the gap with a goal from Paddy then equalised with a headed Brooklands own goal.

There were further chances for both sides in the 1st half with a good performance from the Brooklands keeper stopping Ciaran from scoring from one of his many marauding runs.

In the 2nd half Brooklands regained the lead with another goal. St Johns pushed for another equalizer but couldn't find the breakthrough. They lost Jacob with a head injury and fatigue kicked in.
Brooklands then scored again to seal the 4-2 victory.

It was an improved performance from St Johns with all team members contributing. The extra squad numbers made a big difference.
