St John's got off to a good start with George having an early chance. Jesse also came close. Despite being on top we couldn't score. Kayo had a shot saved. Eventually Sale had a shot which went wide. Finally Kayo slotted home, 1-0. Then just before half-time Sale headed in a goal from a corner. So HT 1-1. In the second half the Eagles came more into the game but George found himself at the back post for a tap in, 2-1. Sam pulled off an excellent save. St John's had further chances including a shot from Zayd. Sale then scored a second headed goal from a corner to equalise, 2-2. Both teams went for a winner but a draw was probably a fair result.
