A later 12 noon kick off, just to make sure we played the 1st half in a deluge of rain (I’m missing the cricket season already ?).

The boys were on the top from the kick off but a bit sloppy in possession at times. For 20 minutes we couldn’t find the ‘killer’ pass & it took a Louis fluke direct from a corner for us to take the lead. A lovely through ball put George through to slot cooly under the goalie for our 2nd.

Our defence were rock solid all game & mainly kept Broadheath to long range shots which Sam sorted confidently! ? The 1 error in defence saw Broadheath pull 1 back before half time.

2nd half saw the lads passing being very slick & great to see the 1 touch passing from the training ground go from back to front, then left to right to find Jesse on the right hand side of the box & he found the top bins! ?

Josh L back for his 1st game of the season cut in from the left to smash into the other top corner! ?

I thought the boys looked really good today. I appreciate it was more difficult for them with so (too) many subs, well done lads! ?⚽️
