In an enthralling match against local rivals Hough End, St John's were unlucky not to claim victory.

I reminded the U 11 lions that in the first game of the season we were lucky to only lose 8 vs 2 to Hough End!

We were unlucky last week to lose to them 4 - 3 and again deserved more that the 2-2 draw today. We saw two typically cool finishes from MIcah. Again the boys worked hard and well when defending and some slick attacking play saw us easily make the most chances.
Our lack of luck was exemplified by Ted hitting the bar in the first third and then the post in the second!

It was a great game to watch and shows how much the boys have developed individually and as a team in six months.
