After a comfortable victory last Saturday St John's faced a stiffer task against Hough End Lions. They battled hard in the first third losing the first goal of the game. Unfortunately Tomas twisted his knee in the first couple of minutes and couldn't continue.
In the second third Hough End took control and scored three times more to make the score 4-0 at the second break.
All the St John's boys played well and tried to play good football but Hough End were too sharp on the ball and too strong in the tackle.
In the final third St John's lost confidence and continued to lose goals with the final score 10-0.
Hopefully the boys will not be too disappointed with the result and instead concentrate on their efforts and good play.
