With the season coming close to an end in June St John's opposition Worsley Wolverines failed to turn up for their fixture.
After conversations with the respect league management and other managers it was decided to play a round-robin of two games against two oppositions. With several absentees some of the 11 o'clock team agreed to play at 10 as well.

St John's first game was against Bluestar Galaxy. Harry M in goal and Jack and Thomas in defence were solid at the back and Odhran, Jesse, Toby and Luke linked up well in attack. St John's took the lead when Odhan played a through ball to Luke who fired home.

St John's played good football in the opposing half and extended their lead with an excellent team goal with passes from Luke to Roberto then to Jess who blasted in from the right.

St John's continued to be strong and solid and the game ended 2-0
