We had a few lads making debuts & so difficult to quickly slot into a new team against a well drilled & decent Trafford Team. We did start well & made several chances early on. We also hit a post & lads felt the ball had crossed the line but not given.

We did struggle against long balls into the box & found ourselves 2vs0 down. Lewis on debut pulled 1 back & we then made lots of really good chances, their keeper was decent & on another day coulda / shoulda scored more.

Trafford took their chances well & punished every error we made at the back.

Finished 5vs2 & that felt a bit harsh especially as we did have some decent performances out there.

We’ve got 1 more placement game. Hopefully we’ll have lads with niggles fully recovered & a couple of squad additions confirmed.
